At first, Akari appears to be an ordinary high school student. However, she is actually a genin ninja from Nekotani Village, currently learning ninpo skills from a cat named Hake.

Akari's physical capability makes up for her lack of ninpo skills, and although her dress often gets messy from her vigorous movements, it doesn't seem to bother her much.

She has a great love for sweet desserts, which she says help replenish the calories she burns through intense physical activity.
